Further Education and Training (grade 8 to grade 12)
Now that your child has (hopefully) received solid foundation, it’s time to kick it up a notch with grades eight through twelve.
According to South African law, grades 10 to 12 are not compulsory, but a learner wishing to enter tertiary studies needs to complete grades 10 to 12 successfully.
Why should your child study with us? received solid foundation, it’s time to kick it up a notch with grades eight through twelve.
Individual attention
If you really want your child to excel, you need to ensure that she receives personal attention. If she’s just another number in just another class, she won’t be able to shine.
Enrolling your child with us ensures that she enjoys personal attention like no other school in the region provides.
Qualified, friendly teachers
Our teachers are all qualified in their respective fields, ensuring that your children aren’t taught by a clueless Wikipedia editor, but by someone who knows facts from fiction.
In this day and age it’s important to have a strong education for a child to build a life upon. Don’t take chances with teachers who aren’t really teachers.
Curriculum
JBay Academy follows the CAPS curriculum for FET.
Small classes
We believe that a class crammed with children offers no rewards to them or their teachers. Therefore we keep the number of learners in a class to a minimum.
This way, peer pressure is kept to a minimum and everyone focuses on what’s important.
Discipline
Although we believe that a learning environment should be non-threatening, we’re also serious about personal discipline.
We expect your child to be able to submit to the laws of the school. We expect your child to behave in an orderly manner. This is so that our school functions properly at all times.
